6 months of Italy

In this series I captured the intense colors and feelings of summer 2020. All pictures were taken on a trip through Italy, which I was allowed to undertake with a great love. She took us from Florence to the island of Elba, where I could breathe deeply the wonderful sea air, to small, delightful villages in Tuscany, to the beautiful city of Siena, to romantic Venice to the mountains of Brixen.

I discovered so much beauty and was filled with all the wonderful places and treasures that I could take in. The intensity of these experiences is reflected in these colorful pictures of the trip, which I painted with oil paints and oil pastel.
